Ronnie Maddalena
Ronnie began her design career in New Jersey, founding a graphic design studio in her own name. After a rewarding tenure focusing on print and corporate identity, she co-founded
a new company specializing in relationship marketing and customer loyalty programs. Her client list grew to include Mercedes-Benz, Land Rover, Cunard, and Smith Barney among others. After relocating to Litchfield County, CT in 2005, Ronnie founded a new communications company in order to share her expertise and creative energies with a new audience. During this time of reinvention, she pursued her interest in the resurgence of letterpress printing by studying at the New York Center for Book Arts. This led to a new addition to her repertoire: designing custom stationery and invitations printed on a restored 1973 Vandercook letterpress that she bought on Ebay. In her free time she can be found in front of her easel working on a new oil painting.
Michael Maddalena
Michael has a portfolio of marketing expertise and event production too long to list. He spent the earlier part of his career in the retail and corporate world: Saks Fifth Avenue, Volkswagen of America and Volvo Cars of North America. At Volvo he managed product literature, new model introductions, incentive travel programs, trade shows, sports marketing and sponsorship events. In 1997, he co-founded Summit Events LLC, retaining Volvo as his client and added LPL Financial Services Company and the Ford Motor Company to his roster of clients. After selling Summit Events in 2005, he moved to Northwest CT and joined Ronnie in Social Comments, concentrating on new business development and creating original concepts for corporate partnership opportunities. In his free time, he can be found under the hood of his 1970 Alfa Romeo making it more perfect.
